New Update From Nathan

Posted by Emer on the 02 Jul 2009 • 0 Comments
I always seem to miss these! Nathan updated his message board on June 11th with this message!

I have been back and forth to Burbank CA with my mom over the past few weeks. I have been auditioning for over 5 different movies. I am waiting on the results. If nothering comes of it I plan on doing my church Drama Camp this summer. We are doing the Wizard Of Oz . Writen by my Uncle Lee and Daddy. The script is one of the funniest things I have ever read. It is a satire of the original Movie. Funny stuff.

My sister is graduating this week and our house will be filled with family and friends. It is always nice to have friends. She is also an actress who you will see alot of soon.So keep your eye out for Danielle Gamble.I know she will be famous some day. My parents said they wanted her to graduate before she starts to persue her acting . So now, look out world!! She is a force to recon with. Trust me being her little brother I know. LOL

Best of luck Nathan!

New from Cannes!

Posted by Emer on the 28 May 2009 • 0 Comments
Sorry there has really been so little news with Nathan recently so I thought I'd just post this little fact smile

Buyers apparently know what they want, according to sellers at this year’s Cannes film market. Despite a wave of gloom going into the market, sellers reported that pre-sales were surprisingly brisk as distributors arrived knowing exactly the type, genre and budget of product they wanted. If it was theatrical and marketable, it would sell.

“There have been none of the time-waster meetings and the recession has weeded out all the chancers. It’s all about product”

Natalie Brenner, head of sales Ealing Distribution

With US unemployment levels showing signs of stabilising and early indications that credit markets are opening up again, some believe the economic crisis may bottom out within six months. In cyclical terms, that means the American Film Market might not be flooded with new projects, but the focus for both sellers and buyers would be real films at -reasonable prices.

Cannes saw a strong emphasis on “real” films. Buyers have been burnt in recent years by allotting part of their acquisition budgets to films that never get made. On the Croisette. for example, many were confused by duelling Jason Statham projects — The Mechanic and The Killer Elite — and wanted to know which will go first.

Paramount Vantage International finished sales on Breck Eisner’s thriller The Crazies and Neil Jordan’s Ondine, starring Colin Farrell, and Bold Films did good business on Joe Dante’s 3D thriller The Hole. Odd Lot International enjoyed a good Cannes on the back of John Cameron Mitchell’s drama Rabbit Hole starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart and Myriad Pictures’ Tribeca pick-up Serious Moonlight was popular with international distributors.

Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas

Posted by Emer on the 16 May 2009 • 0 Comments
Unfortunately it looks like Nathan's pilot tv show Captain Cook's Extraordinary Atlas has not been picked up by ABC. The budget for the show was just too large and unaffordable. This is a pity as it did sound like a great show but we all know Nathan will book plenty of other roles in the future. Hopefully the pilot may be made available to see sometime soon too!
Thanks to Dani for the news.

Another New Headshot

Posted by Emer on the 17 Apr 2009 • 0 Comments
Nathan's IMDB profile got updated with another new headshot which is just absolutely adorable! It looks like it's from the same shoot as the last one added but this one if definitely my favorite! bounce I've added it to the gallery, in the small IMDB size but hopefully we'll get a more HQ version soon.

Also we have an update from Nathan's message centre that we didn't post about:

I am looking forward to going back to work on the Hole this month. I am off to LA California On April 20th,.I will be so happy to the work we have done over the past few months. It will be a must see movie.

Finally, incase no one has seen the scrolling news in the navigation, Marley and Me came out on DVD and Blu-Ray March 31st in the USA. Be sure to go out, get your copy and support Nathan!

Young Artist Awards

Posted by Emer on the 30 Mar 2009 • 0 Comments
Unfortunately Nathan did not win any Young Artist Awards last night. Not to worry though, judging from the results you can only win if you attend the event, or have anything to do with it. There's doesn't seem to be anything about talent. Saying that, I know Nathan will win plenty of great awards throughout his career and he is a winner in my eyes. smile
